An unabashed romantic, I make my home near Chicago, Illinois. My love of reading and writing began in grade school where a class assignment on – ironically enough – our dream career swerved me off the marine biologist path straight into the desire to be an author. I eventually won a contest in a college literary magazine and the pursuit of publication ultimately led me to join the Romance Writers of America where I later became a Golden Heart Finalist for Best Short Contemporary Romance.
When I’m not writing, I devote my time to my friends and family, puts my degree in Computer Information Systems to good use as a recording secretary, and spend way too much time online hunting for new additions to my ever-growing collection of dragons.
